Focus Vault Privacy Policy
This page explains how Focus Vault handles information used inside the app.
Last updated: 3 July 2026
Overview
Focus Vault is a focus and app-blocking utility. It helps you choose distracting apps or categories, start timed focus sessions, show a block screen and track simple focus progress.
Information you choose to store
Focus Vault may store app settings, focus sessions, selected focus labels, durations, progress history, streak information and emergency unlock reasons. This information is used to run the app and show your progress.
Screen Time and app blocking
Focus Vault uses Apple’s Screen Time frameworks, including Family Controls and Managed Settings, to block selected apps or categories during focus sessions. Apple provides privacy-safe selection tokens. Focus Vault does not need to know or sell your browsing history.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Focus Vault may send local notifications for session completion or focus reminders. You can disable notifications in the app or in device settings.
Data storage
Focus Vault stores app data locally on your device. If future versions add syncing through Apple services such as iCloud, this policy will be updated to explain how it works.
No advertising tracking
Focus Vault does not use third-party advertising tracking. Focus Vault does not sell your personal information.
